Opinion Outpost

Opinion Outpost will not make you rich, but it sure as heck will allow you to sweep in an extra $60 a month on average.

I have been a member of Opinion Outpost for nearly 2 years now, what I love about the survey site is that not only will I be rewarded cash for taking their surveys, but I have the option to turn my money into amazon bucks. When I request amazon bucks, they instantly provide me with an e-certificate code to redeem on amazon. No waiting at all.

Best of all though, is that sometimes while taking a survey they will ask if you want to participate in an in home product test. Basically you test the product, keep the product, and provide feedback for money.

It's all easy, its fun, and the money piles up pretty quickly. Click to be taken to the site, to join.

A Fun Money Making Opportunity For Women and Young Girls

Bellwether Surveys is a survey site that I absolutely adore. This company does not usually pay you money per survey; instead what they do is send you fun surveys mostly pertaining to makeup. You do the survey and are entered into a drawing to win Amazon e-certificates.

I know some of you are probably thinking that an incentive like that sucks. However I have won about 6 times this year alone, granting me well over $100 in Amazon e-certificates.

It does not stop there though, because you are also entered to win merchandise such as digital cameras, PDA's, money, a robotic vacuum, mp3 player, or a portable DVD player.

The best thing about Bellwether however is not the prizes or the cash. Every now and again, you will be given the opportunity to product test beauty products!

It's fun, rewarding, and you get free stuff. It's one site you should definitely sign up for.

Here is a link directly to their site. http://www.bellwethersurveys.com

Make Money On Kontera!!!

Kontera will not make you rich, however if you write and you write a lot, you will earn more and more money on Kontera. The process is slow, but the process does work.

It took me about a year to gain just $100.00 on Kontera. Now though, I make around $20.00 a month just on Kontera, which is $20.00 more than I had without adding Kontera.

The reason I recommend it is because it's just like scooping up free money. Although Google Adsense is my personal favorite money maker on Blogger, Kontera is decent, because it's simple.

You go to the site, sign up, and add in your blogs url (web address).

Kontera will scan your content, and add funny blue links to your content. If people click on them, you get paid.

It's really that easy. You just sit back, and wait for the payout to hit! Simple, too simple. If you have a blog, than definitely sign up for Kontera, it's easy money.

Here is my earnings for yesterday. Usually it's lower than that, but for some reason, weekends seem to be the best times for Kontera clicks.

$2.33- Yesterdays earnings

Now, the more text I have, the higher that number will sail. I have good days and bad on Kontera, but I don't over think it, and just wait for the payout.

Next Time I will show you how to make money with links and banners like this:

Colors Do Make a Difference When It Comes To Gaining Readership On Blogger Blogs!

One very important thing that many new Bloggers need to remember (especially if they plan on making money) is that colors make a huge difference.

I have come across so many really great blogs, and websites that I could not stand to look at more than just a few short moments.

Its a real shame too because the content is usually worth reading. However due to the odd blinking texts, annoying graphics, or colors that don't read well on the background, I have to skip it.

A graphic here and there is fine, however graphic puke all over your page with blinking glitter, blinking texts, etc, are meant for myspace (people hate them there too though).

You want your blog to load quickly, and you want colors that are easy to read.

Make Money With Amazon Associates

Although making money for some using Amazon Associates is a very slow process, I find that if you are working with a certain topic, it is easier to make sales on your blog.

I have a Blog on Grand Bahama Island, so trying to sell people an HDTV is pointless.

Instead I set the blog up, with updates, photos, and my own personal travel accounts. After every post I would then add an Amazon Associates link to a product within the Caribbean topic. Bathing suits, snorkels, masks, beach themed items and such. It took about a month for Bahamas.com to take notice to my Grand Bahama Island blog, (click to view) and they actually linked me to their site. Naturally this caused hits to pour in, and with the hits came sales.

It did not make me rich, but on average every month I take in about $60.00 from that blog alone just on Amazon Associates commission.

Now you are probably wondering how to go about adding Amazon product links to your blog.

You will first need to go to Amazon Associates and create an account. Click to be taken directly to the site.

Once you are all set up it is best to add individual product links, verses adding a banner. Individual links like the ones I placed below are easily done.

After logging in to your Associates account, you will notice a tab at the top that says LINKS AND BANNERS. Click it.

On the next page find the link bolded in blue that says ADD PRODUCT LINKS NOW.

On this page simply search for a product that relates to your blog. If it be makeup, books, dvd's or toys... add in whatever it is you think would best relate to your written content.

When you find the product in the list brought up, simply click the GET LINK button located near the product.

Before highlighting and copying the HTML box code, play with the colors. Let it match your blog, or differentiate it for holidays.

After you change the colors, you can now highlight the text, and copy and paste that text right into your blog.

When you paste it, it will only display an ugly code. When you publish it though, you will clearly see the product.

Visitors to your blog can now purchase this product.

The fun catch though is that even though they do not purchase the item, they may purchase something else. You will still get credit for those purchases. If they come to Amazon through your product link, and buy something else you are still getting paid! Yay!!!

Tip- review blogs are very effective when it comes to selling things on Amazon. Travel Blogs are also very popular and will help sales.

The very best thing abut being an Amazon Associate is that it is free, and you never ever have to get involved with shipping, returns, or even owning the product yourself. You just try and sell it, and get a commission.

Even Better- Amazon Associates is not the only outlet to making money with your blog. While I average $60.00 through Amazon, I also have a few other outlets when it comes to earning money with that very same blog.

Baby steps for now though, baby steps.

Next topic I will teach you how to set up a Kontera account, in order to make money there as well.

How To Set Up Google Analytics On Blogger

Setting up Google Analytics on your Blogger Blog will not earn you any money, but it certainly helps you figure out which of your blogs are popular, and which of them are sort of lame.

A blog can be hit or miss, so knowing what people are reading gives you a nice heads up.

One of my most popular blogs is my travel blog, called Wonders of Grand Bahama Island. Also my myspace and facebook survey blog is gaining rapid popularity.

My other blogs are mainly for fun. The hits are far less, but the blog has earned me a few dollars, and hey- it's a few more dollars that I didn't have before.

Anyhow, setting up Google Analytics is easy as pie.

You first will want to go into your google account, and go to the tab that says 'analytics'. Click it.

Now look for a tab that says ADD WEBSITE PROFILE.

Here you will add in your websites web address. Your blogger url.

Add this, and get a tracking code. You need to add this code to your Blogger Blog in order for the tracking to start taking place.

You do this by cutting the code.

First copy the code, and then go to your blogger account.

In your dashboard hit LAYOUT.

Next find the tab that says EDIT HTML. Click it.

Now look in your long list of codes. The list will be long, but don't worry, scroll to the near bottom and find < /div >< /div>

Right after that, you will see an end outer-wrapper with a weird arrow. --->

Add your code by pasting it in right after the arrow. You can find this code usually at the end of the list on your Edit HTML page.

If you did it properly you can find out fairly quickly by going back to Google Analytics.

You will probably see a warning error on the blog tracker. However this does not always mean it did not work. Give it a few moments and wait, or check the status by clicking EDIT.

At the top it will tell you the trackers status. At the very top it will say 'waiting for data'. Leave it be, and wait for google to do the rest!

Once the tracker is all installed properly you can view daily hits to your site, and you can view what key words people were using in order to find your blog. You will also be able to see which other websites linked your blog! It's a very neat tool, and you will love it.

What I really enjoy as well, is being able to see where my hits came from. I get many odd hits from China, and Japan which are always interesting!

Let's Start With First Making A Blog! Without One, You Won't Make Any Money On Blogger

Perhaps blogging is not your thing- but guess what, a simple blog could earn you a really decent pair of shoes at the month, or better yet, some new makeup, or how about your blog being responsible for paying your cell phone bill?

Maybe you have higher hopes, but unfortunately you have to start small, and work your way up. As you go along though, you will learn even more and more ways to turn your simple free blog into a money making side job.

First you have to START A BLOG!

See the one you have landed on here? This is a blog. You too can join. www.blogger.com.

Now start your blog. It's simple really. Later on I will show you how get a nice custom template like the one you see here. First though, let's start off small.

Chose a template, any will do really. We can upgrade this gem later on.

For about 15 days blog about whatever it is you want. If you like dogs, blog about dogs. If you want a blog to be more like a diary, go ahead. Anything you want, and everything you want.

A lot of people will say to stick to one general thing to talk about, but I personally have learned that jumping around is okay too.

Many popular blogs include cooking recipes, and crafts. Some focus on teen life, others branch into the realm of the paranormal. If you want to mash all of that into one, go ahead. It's your choice, and don't let anyone tell you what works and what doesn't.

The biggest thing I have learned about blogging is that it is not worth the time if you are not having fun. I like to have fun with my blog, as well as make a few bucks with it at the end of the day.

Anyhow, now that you have set up your blog, poke away at the keyboard for a few days, or weeks. Have around 15 blog posts in there.

Once you have your blog set up, you can now begin to process ways into turning your fun little side writing hobby, into a money making pit.

You will now want to join Google!

Register your blog, and wait, wait, wait.

Eventually you should get a letter in your email from google letting you know that you were accepted.

You can now incorporate google ads into your blog. These ads are what makes you money. Google Ads are not the only money making avenue when it comes to blogging. There are other ways you can use your blog to make money. But today I will focus on Google Ads.

Adding Google Ads To Your Blogger Blog

Once you have been approved you can now go to your blogger blog, and go to your dashboard. Pick LAYOUTS and wait for the page to load.

You will see a tab on your page that says ADD A GADGET. Click this, and look for the the one that says ADSENSE.

You click this, and you will now have the option to choose what you want the ads to look like as far as colors go. Sit back and let Google do the rest. You can add more if you want.

A Tip- Play around with the colors for a nice effective banner.

Now that you have learned how to add Google Adsense. Next time I will show you how to go about setting up Google Analytics in order to keep track of how many hits, and which keywords are taking people to your blog. This is a nice little feature from Google that allows you to keep an eye on what is going on. What is popular on your blog, and what isn't.
